Aari Barnes

Aari Barnes is the Founder and Designer of CC MAG. She created CC MAG to highlight the stories of diverse individuals, in hopes of elevating narratives that celebrate joy, diversity, health, wellness, and an overall sense of community. Aari has a very cute but very badly behaved pup named Marcus. When she isn’t designing or mentoring, she is probably on the phone chatting away to someone. She is most proud of her team and all of the amazing work they have contributed (and continue to contribute) to the magazine. You can get in contact with Aari by adding her on LinkedIn.

Avondale Kendja

Avondale Kendja is the Associate Editor at Collective Culture Magazine, where she conducts weekly workshops to familiarize the company’s writers with conventional and alternative ways to improve their content. She is also a copy editor who does freelance work for essays and articles published online. When she isn’t looking to mind-travel with an engaging book, you can find her taking random shots of things that she finds “underwhelmingly” beautiful, like abandoned heeled boots on a sidewalk.

Maybe later she does a little editing with any photo editing program she has access to… If you would like to get to know Avondale or know more about her copy editing business, please either email her at kendja553@gmail.com or take a look at her LinkedIn page.

Nicholas Fogle

My name is Nicholas Fogle and I was born and raised in Harlem. I graduated from John Jay College in 2020 double majoring in Philosophy and Economics. I’m always looking for new shows and movies to pass the time and always interested in exploring the arts.

My biggest passion is Philosophy and I am a big promoter of intellectual development. We all understand that the education system in itself isn’t enough to teach us what we need to know in order to live our lives to fullest and for myself this was very true. When I discovered the discipline of philosophy and that many of my questions about life, the human experience, and how to live were deeply rooted in the works of philosophy I was automatically enamored.

I joined CC MAG because I believed it was a place that provided me with the space to share and discuss philosophical ideas and investigations while also helping me develop as a person who wants to pursue philosophy at higher levels. As the Brand Operations Specialist, I do believe that we at CC MAG can bring innovative thinking to those who have found our magazine and have read our pieces.
